SIGN UP TO RECEIVE TEXT MESSAGES: 
Parkland School District uses School Messenger, a rapid notification system, that allows for automated calls and emails to phone number(s) and email addresses the parent or guardian has provided to the District. This system will be used in the event of an emergency and to share important information.

To receive text messages, please do both of the following steps:

  1. Contact our main office to make the request, by phone call or email. Maximum 2 text numbers per student.

The dropbox file locations are separated based on teacher. Please tag the picture with your student’s name! This can be added after clicking the website link under “your name”. We are asking for no more than 5 pictures per student. PLEASE INCLUDE A BABY PICTURE OF YOUR CHILD AND MAKE SURE ONLY YOUR CHILD IS IN THE PHOTOS. THE PARKLAND COMMUNITY RESOURCE FAIR IS MARCH 16, 9 AM - 12 Noon -  This FREE event will include 100 community organizations, Parent Workshops and a New Parent Social!  Sign up to attend one of the special FREE events here.  Or, just plan to bring your family and join us to learn about all of the wonderful resources that exist in our Parkland community for families...from nonprofits, to recreation, to social service agencies and more!  Tour a mock teen bedroom, enjoy free give aways from the table vendors, engage your children in free activities, taste food made by the PHS Cooking Club, enjoy the Parkland Strolling Strings and more!  Free donuts and coffee at the Parent Workshops and New Parent Social - Sign up here.

This is a FREE club run by students and overseen by club advisor Samantha Edwards, Parkland's Instructional Innovation Specialist. Students in grades 5-8 from ALL Parkland schools are welcome to join the VIRTUAL sessions. Club meetings will be held virtually on Thursdays and will begin March 21st and continue through May 23rd from 4:15 - 5:15 PM. No experience is necessary! A virtual meeting link will be emailed to all registrants before the first session.

Social service agencies, nonprofits, community partners, and recreational organizations will showcase their services and parent workshops will be offered.

Elementary Chromebook Damages

The Technology Department would like to remind you that in the event in which a Student Chromebook is damaged by means other than normal wear and tear (i.e. abuse, neglect, intentional damage, horseplay), there will be a fee charged for repairs, not to exceed the replacement cost of the Chromebook.  Incidents will be documented and will result in an invoice being sent to parents\guardians.  A copy of this invoice will be uploaded to HAC until payment is received. They will get a chance to play some of their favorites, as well as learning new ones. Through positive social interaction, campers will learn the importance of fair play and sportsmanship in an environment where everyone has fun.
